The tournament dates for the Cocoa Expo Cup & College Showcase are always December 27 - 30. This is an ideal time, just after the holidays, to bring your team to sunny Cocoa Beach, Florida for four great days of great competition, college preparation and fun. Group play games will be played on the first three days of the tournament. Semifinals and Finals will be played on the final tournament day. Semifinal matches will be played at 8 and 10 AM with the Finals at 1 and 5 PM. Team Registration will be on December 26th at 5:00pm in the Cocoa Expo Arena.
At the Cocoa Expo Cup and College Showcase, players, coaches, friends and family enjoy an Olympic style celebration with a march in to officially open the event. This will be an evening to remember. Bring your team banners and team spirit! Each year at The Cocoa Expo Cup, a dance party provides a great opportunity for players and coaches to mingle with teams from around the country and around the World!
College Coaches and Professional Scouts are Watching You!
Tournaments and College Showcases play a leading role in the recruiting process for College Soccer. Our main goal is to help your players to achieve their dreams! At the Cocoa Expo Cup & College Showcase and other Expo events, your players have the opportunity to be seen by college, university and professional coaches. We invite over 700 NCAA Div. I, II, III, NAIA and Junior College Coaches every year to attend our showcase and recruit players. This year, SoccerInCollege, the leading college soccer recruiting website, will create Player Profile Books that will be handed to all college coaches who attend and also will provide online software to guide you through the recruiting process and maximize your exposure to college coaches. All Cocoa Expo tournaments are open to Girls and Boys U9-U19. We accept teams from U.S.S.F Youth Soccer Affiliates, U.S.Y.S.A., U.S. Club Soccer, Super-Y League, USSSA, A.Y.S.O, Canada and International Associations. Teams may be made up of guest players from different clubs and/or teams.
Requirements:
Each player must have signed a Medical Release Form.
International teams must provide an approved Permission to Travel letter from their governing association, roster and proof of insurance.
All teams are allowed to include as many guest players as they wish on their roster. Guest players must meet the age requirements.
Playing Location:
Tournament teams will compete at the Cocoa Expo Sports Center (14 fields, various sizes) and nearby offsite locations (if necessary).
Tournament Rules:
All tournaments will be played under rules in accordance with U.S.Y.S.A., U.S.S.F., and F.I.F.A. In age groups U16 through U19 involving two or more international teams the F.I.F.A. limited schoolboy/girl substitution rules will apply. A complete set of rules will be sent to your team after your team is accepted.

Registered boy's and girl's teams from the U9 - U19 age groups are invited to all Cocoa Expo tournaments. To be eligible for a particular age group, the player must be born on or after August 1. Please check the age guidelines if you are uncertain about a player.

Cocoa Expo tournaments have been officially sanctioned by USSSA, a registered youth affiliate of U.S. Soccer and F.I.F.A.

III. Format:
U9 - 10 teams
will play 6v6 format (maximum of 12 players on their roster)
U11 - U12 teams will play 8v8 format (maximum of 14 players on their

U13 - U19 teams will play 11v11 format (maximum of 18 players on their
roster)

Every tournament has a 3 game
guarantee. Awards will be given to finalists and semifinalists (if applicable). |
IV. Housing:
All participating teams must stay in the dormitory or in one of our member hotels and must provide their own transportation. Cocoa Expo offers a wide variety of accommodations and meals packages. If you stay on our dormitory lodging and meal plan or on our hotel lodging and meal plan your team is eligible to use Cocoa Expo’s Athletic and Meeting Facilities at no charge.

Designed and built as a major league training center, Cocoa Expo has been spring training home of both the Houston Astros and Florida Marlins.
